The board of Independent Commission for Mine and Mines (KPMM) at the end-of-year meeting has warned a serious investment in the municipality of Vushtrri in 2019. According to the Independent Commission for Mine and Mineral, a foreign company will invest in 2019 around 7m euros for five years, while the main resource is magnesiti, but also other resources that will emerge after the mine's opening. According to the KPM, 150 workers are expected to be employed.
The Zeri newspaper has learned it's about a company from Poland, which has warned it will refunction the Magnesite mine in Dubovc. Officials of this company have twice visited the Vushtrri municipality and agreed with municipal officials to start with jobs that should be done in reactivating the mine. Also, officials from the company have talked to local residents whose land will be used for the explosion of xehes.
