If Albanians were once known as the most suffering and oppressed people of the Balkans, such as the less developed Europeans, these epithets no longer belong to us, no, because the dreams we once feared and we were dreaming of already making them happen. Slowly but safely!
One of our present dreams, for which parts of the soul and body almost every Albanian sacrificed, was the army we enjoy today.
Kind of with the soldiers, the army, we grew up watching them, and if we didn't see them, we had at least imagined them.
But if we had soldiers whom we would see in heaven - a military pilot for us - it was like the people said, dreaming with open eyes! It doesn't matter how we dream, open eyes or eyes, the world's newest army -- that of the Republic of Kosovo -- today has its first pilot.
This is Africa Zabel, who on December 14th, graduated from Turkey on the day of the Kosovo Army.
This moment certainly was the climax of our joy, but also of the approach, which his journey to the Kosovo Army, had begun in 2011.
