Lushtaku has indicated before the media that he will be interviewed on January 16th, but that he has no information on what quality he will be interviewed. He said he didn't miss the support of friends at the same time.
I would have been sorry if I hadn't been called... I don't know what I'm gonna be interviewing for. I'm waiting on January 16th. All my friends, friends and loved ones have called me, contacted me. Of course I'm going to be”, Lushtaku said.
And lawyer Arian Koci believes the former commanders will return as they are. He has confirmed that Lushtaku will be interviewed on January 16th, while Rrustem Mustafa on the 14th of this month.
We're going, we're going back. Lord Lushtaku flew now. He will be interviewed on January 16th and has used him for a family visit, while Mr. Mustafa will be interviewed on January 14th tomorrow. The date for Mr. Lushtaku was postponed because they both had the same lawyer and had to coordinate the time”, Koci explained.
Sami Lushtaku will accompany MP Milaim Zeka to The Hague. He has said before the media that he is doing it willingly because he believes in their struggle.
Zeka has said he does not suspect in their fight, however, has acknowledged there is no information whether Lushtaku may have committed crimes against civilians.
“Special Court has no claims to try the Kosovo Liberation Army war, the charges will be individual, I believe absolutely in the purity of General Lushtaku, I know his biography, I know early, I know the war in what way this man has done and I have no doubt, no information that he has committed any crime against civilians, anything that could enforce a criminal act on international parameters, because in Kosovo it is zero-”, Zeka said.
Deputy Ganimetie Musliu has joined the airport to attend. She has said that it turns out to offer moral support, such a thing, according to her should be done by the state of Kosovo.
The state must be behind them at any moment, these are going this time to be challenged with justice, proud as ever for their past, so I've come out more today to be close to his family than to do my job as MP, morally with his family and with the chairman, with Remy, and with all who take this path. I consider that the price of freedom is being paid very dearly, but I hope that just as they have known to be so proud of the war that they started, they've ended it, they've brought freedom to the country, and they've come back from this process”, Musliu said.
The invitation by the Special Prosecutor has also received former Commander Rrustem Mustafa, who is expected to travel to The Hague today, and will be interviewed tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Special Court in The Hague will act on Kosovo laws, but with international judges and prosecutors.
The investigations this court is conducting will focus on alleged crimes from January 1998 to December 2000.
