Luka warns compensation for workers leaving Telekom

Luka has explained the process that will lead to privatisation. The privatisation process, according to Luka, will take place by the end of the year, while the first six months focus will be on restructuring.

Luka has said in KTV's interactive “ ” that the government has an agreement with the BERZH regarding Telekom, showing that restructuring is initially done, then investment is made by the EBRDHI to prepare the way towards privatisation. In this comprehensive process, Luka has said the government has had to pledge privatisation to Telekom.

He has said privatisation is the best possible solution for Telekom.

Speaking of the possibility of leaving workers after privatisation, Luka has predicted a similar example of Croatia's Telekom.

Luka has said the government plans not to make full privatisation of Telekom, but to remain operational at between 25 and 40 percent.

As for interested companies, Luka has mentioned some of them, including Orange from France and the Austrian A1. He added here that there will be more marketing to attract other companies.
