At least five people lost their lives in accidents caused by slippery roads in Kansas and Missouri. Among the victims were a 14-year-old woman and daughter whose car ran into a big truck. Missouri authorities have accepted more than three thousand calls for help. There were over 700 accidents on Saturday, and 1,300 cars were off the street.
