Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj, at the same time deputy prime minister in the Kosovo government, has reacted to the detention of two KSF members from the Serb community in Jarinje.
Limaj has said that this move, but other recently orchestrated actions on the part of the Serb community, are aimed at intimidating Serbs integrated into Kosovo institutions.
Serbia must stop provocations once and for all, and its destructive behaviour and KSF members should be released immediately, Limaj's response said.
The news of stopping two Kosovo Security Force members from the Serb community at the Jarinje border crossing is disturbing. This action and other actions orchestrated by Serbian authorities in recent days are aimed at frightening Serbs integrated into Kosovo institutions. Serbia should have stopped provocations once and for all and its evil behaviour. Parts of the KSF should be released immediately”, Limaj wrote.
