Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj is returning from Brussels optimistic about reaching a final agreement with Serbia, which, according to him, should not be set a deadline. He says Kosovo will be represented as a state in dialogue, no longer on individual grounds. Persistently, there will be no agreement with Serbia without resolving the issue of the found.
After the meeting the state delegation for dialogue with Serbia had with the EU's top representative, Federica Moghrini, Limaj, from Brussels, shows that it was clarified that Kosovo will be represented as a state, not on individual grounds. In an interview for Kosovo Preress, one of the two leaders of the dialogue also spoke of the president's role in the process.
He says they will be unified in Pristina, to speak in a voice in Bucharest. According to him, Kosovo in Brussels, in talks with Serbia, is represented as a state and no longer has on individual and personal grounds.
On the other hand, he stresses that the achievement of this meeting is that it has become clear to the EU that not knowing from Serbia is the key to all problems being presented between the two countries. Once, he has also spoken of the US role in the dialogue process and the existing possibility that this one will be directly locked in the process.
For rumours that a final agreement could happen very soon, in the first quarter of this year, Limaj says no specific deadlines should be set, as according to him, it is important to reach a good deal.
The co-chairman of the dialogue reiterated that the tax imposed on Serbia is lifted only when the reasons for what it has been imposed stop. As he says that no agreement will be reached without the fate of the found. All in the end, Limaj claims that from today's meeting with EU representatives, it was pointed out that there is a common reconciliation that has an atmosphere and there are conditions to be worked intensively to come to the final agreement with Serbia, binding on both sides.
According to him, Kosovo's position is to initially find the solution to all the topics opened on the table. /N. Jakupi/Kosovopress
