Thus stated Justice Minister in Macedonia Renata Deskoska. She said there is a conclusion for such a step in Government and that there is agreement between the LSDM and DUI to include eventual remarks in the law.
“Pative already exists and this is the goal. Why would you be sent to the Venice Commission if you didn't have the will to apply the remarks afterwards? Even the agreement itself is whether what was adopted by the law is confirmed by the Venice Commission, okay, if not, will change according to the Venice Commission's instructions”, Alsat- M Deskoska.
But Macedonia's deputy prime minister, Bujar Osmani, has a different attitude. In question of journalists, he said there would be paperwork submitted to the Venice Commission, but not to the full law, but only to two provisions that have not been adopted -- for Albanian language -- in coins and military uniforms.
In the government session process in which the draft law on language use was adopted, which is a sound document for the government's website on the internet opinion, it says:
Government's 20th session process
The government established the Ministry of Justice through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to seek the Venice Commission's opinion on the text of law and open issues that are not part of this law, following the adoption of the law in the Republic of Macedonia's Assembly of”.
The same formula, that the Venice Commission will be submitted to the passed law, is also noted in the government plan 3-6-9.
