It is news to know about Kosovo, Minister Bytyqi himself, after the regular meeting he has held with KKP representatives.
Bytyqi has said that this practice will depoliticise education, while also promising support to the Parents' Council this year.
We expect parents to play a very active role in school governance, ranging from the administrative instruction that is already being prepared to select directors, a whole new formula that will depoliticise and minimize other effects and to select teachers. Likewise, the activity of the Parents' Council, which will be much more active in 2019 and will have joint activities and specific activities that were given our support for and backed up”, Bytyqi said.
And KKP chairman Ymret Resiti has said that with the involvement of parents in the country's role in schools, besides depoliticisation of education, the quality of education will increase.
The Parents' Council will no longer have an observer role but will have a decision-making role and a positive step has been made in terms of depoliticisation of schools. I believe that this has already taken on a good initiative and I believe that within this year we will realise it and not only that the quality in education will increase, but that even school management will be better”, Resiti said.
Also, during this meeting, it has been discussed in the education strike that the SBASK has warned about Monday.
Minister Bytyqi has announced they have also received the support of the Parents' Council that the strike not be held, because according to them, it will harm children.
