Minister of European Integration, Gift Hoxha, is standing in Austria, where she has today met with Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl, with whom she has discussed the integration process of Kosovo, and in particular visa liberalisation.
„I became closely acquainted with the integration process, reaching and challenges, undertaken reforms and implementation of the SAA. Our achievements would not be at this level without the support of friendly states, as well as Austria, which in every stage of our country's development, was at our side, as will the future “, Minister Hoxha said, according to a communique issued by MIE.
Hoxha has added that Kosovo's integration into international organisations is of priority as well as the removal of barriers that conflict with EU values.
In particular, Hoxha called on Austria's foreign minister to help speed up the decision-making for visa liberalisation, given the importance of the member states' stance on this process, the communique stresses.
“Foreign Affairs Minister Kneissl highlighted the importance of reforms and implementation of the SAA. However, she mentioned, Austria strongly supports Kosovo in all its commitments, in particular the integration process and visa liberalisation”, suggests MIE.
