Kosovo to resume visa lobby, Minister Hoxha confirms

Minister of European Integration in the Government of Kosovo, Gift Hoxha, has said today that the European Union is interested in making sure it is continuing progress on cases targeted in the justice system. Minister of European Integration in the Government of Kosovo, Gift Hoxha, has said today that the European Union is interested in making sure it is continuing progress on cases targeted in the justice system.
In this meeting, which is held in Pristina on Wednesday, Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri, State Prosecutor Alexander Lumezi, Kosovo Judiciary Council Chairman Nehat Idrizi, have attended.
It is said that “Kosovo has met the conditions for visa liberalisation and that there are additional conditions”.
In a media communiqué, the Ministry of European Integration has said that cases targeted by European Union member states are being seen as one of the key indicators of rule of law and, as quoted in the communiqué, Prime Minister Hoxha has stressed that “work in this direction is continuing”.
Hoxha is quoted as saying that the dynamic of the integration agenda will not be reduced and that in the coming days, lobbies and meetings with EU member states will resume.
