Even after much efforts by the Serbian state to challenge the presentation of Kosovars' work, this did not happen. As in the European Parliament's space, in Strasbourg, during today, the exhibition “Natural and Cultural Union” has been opened.
Eczemplars displayed at this art exhibition include works selected by the work of the National Museum of the Republic of Kosovo. Which were then brought by the Kodra Foundation, within this exhibition. The exhibition has been provided by the Kosovo Embassy in Brussels, in co-operation with Eurodeputt Ihlan Kyuchyk. Where it is also supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kodra Foundation.
Kosovo's Ambassador to Brussels, Bernard Nikaj, has told Kosovo Press that this project is trying to put the state of Kosovo into the attention of the European Parliament. The” has since been intended to present the work of Kosovo artists. Where in this case we co-operated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kodra Foundation, which had a joint project with several institutions in Kosovo. Including the Kosovo Museum, to present cultural and natural co-existence in Kosovo. Photos and paintings displayed here are built around Ibrahim Kodra's famous painting, for the new town, and around it we have pictures of some of the cultural heritage objects that are found in Kosovo, but also the work of children about natural coexistence, and the way they see nature in Kosovo. I believe this project has attempted to put Kosovo in focus, of the European Parliament”, Nikaj said. Nikaj, among other things, has stressed that during these days, as he said, there has been a tendency by the Serbian state to prevent the opening of this exhibition.
Such an initiative does not pass without political sensitivity. We have been following letters from objections, which were sent from Serbia's mission to the European Union, why this exhibition is made and how cultural heritage is presented. However, these were attempts, which, as you saw, did not prevent the exhibition from being held”, Nikaj added. Eurodeputet, formerly vice-president of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe, Ihlan Kyuchyuk said Kosovo, as the country with the newest youth in the world, is full of energy and potential. ” Today, the exhibition is the result of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Kosovo Embassy in Brussels, the National Museum of Kosovo, with the work of Ibrahim Kodra. Ibrahim Kodra's work, broadcasts the message and is an instrument of peace and culture in Kosovo. This work reflects natural and cultural co-existence in Kosovo”, he said. Kyuchyuk has all thanked for this project, especially Foreign Affairs Minister Behgjet Pacolli, for supporting and enabling the realisation of this exhibition. During the opening of this exhibition, Maria Pacolli, invited by the Kodra Foundation, was present. This exhibition will be open throughout the week in the European Parliament's spaces, says Kosovas Prees.
