The attorney accredited at the Special Court, Arianian Koci, on the interactive “ ” show of KTV, has said that a guest for this court will go for an interview in February.
Not wanting to identify him, Koci said that in February a person who becomes third after Rustem Mustafa-Rem and Sami Lushtak will be interviewed.
Speaking of the Special Court organisation, lawyer Koci has said it is the continuation of The Hague Tribunal.
Now this structure of lawyers has The Hague experience, Euex, UNMIK and our courts, we too have prepared protection. This is where the cream of world jurists is gathered, even though I'm among the first to challenge him after I thought it wasn't fair to have a court on one side by itself, Koci said.
Koci has said that an indictment could arise without the accused's knowledge.
There may be an indictment and not know, then it can be invited to present the facts for defence”, says Koci, who added that respondents have the right to speak in their mother tongue.
Each person has the right to speak in its own language, but translators were with encrypted names. Ironically, I have enjoyed translating a foreigner rather than that of Albania. The translation is important because we have our jargon and the details determine a situation. Justice on these levels consists of small details”, Koci has said.
Asked how long Special Court can last, Koci does not expect it to be completed quickly, citing the 10-year procedure of The Hague Tributal.
The “is the phase of investigations, the establishment of charges, judgments and retrials, all of which have to go for a long time”, he has said. /Periscopi
