Prizren Mayor Mytaher Haskuka from Vetevendosje says he has found the stance of former partners who have said they will leave if Albin Kurti is running for party chairman. Speaking of the removal of 12 deputies from Kurti's party, Haskuka acknowledges it has been a major challenge to remove those who chose to continue in the PSD.
He says he has not been the sound logic of Kurt's opposition to the post of Vetevendosje's first post.
In an interview for Kosovo, Haskuka also talks about the problems Prizren has.
The evacuations affecting the party's central level, according to Haskuka, have not caused any problems in Prizren.
I didn't personally think this would happen, but people are having different interests and there are things that are happening. In Prizren, thankfully, we haven't had such a problem, there have been some evacuations, but there's been generally no problem in terms of organisational structure. But, of course, that has been a big challenge. Because, any party if a part of the MPs come out of them, presents the problem”, he said.
Saying he has taken the lead in much trouble, Haskuka shows Prizren has huge debts.
One of Haskuca's promises was to reduce directors, but this has not yet been accomplished. According to him, the fact that it is in the coalition with other parties cannot achieve much of what it promised.
In addition, Haskuka did not succeed in increasing the number of women leading with municipal directors. Another problem Prizren chairman says they are working on to solve is traffic in the city.
