Haradinaj's cabinet mega in 2019: 35 advisers, up to 11 deputy prime minister

The prime minister's office will increase costs from the state budget.

That is because it has decided to increase the number of political advisers, KTV reports.

In December last year, the government led by Ramush Haradinaj has made the decision that the prime minister can appoint as many as 15 political advisers.

Besides that, Haradinaj could have nine other advisers from the ranks of communities, including the Montenegrin and Croatian one, which are officially not recognised as communities.

In all, the prime minister is expected to have 24 political advisers paid by Kosovo taxpayers' money.

Given the decision to raise government salaries, the prime minister's political adviser's salary is 1,340.

The 24 Haradinaj advisers are expected to receive over 32,000 euros per month, or about 386 thousand euros a year.
Haradinaj's office has told KTV that the prime minister also has 11 foreign advisers.

With them, but not paid from the budget, Haradinaj is expected to have 35 advisers close to himself.

But, the prime minister's office says 9 community advisers should not enter the general number of advisers.

In a written response, they reason on the decision to increase political advisers because, as they have said, additional commitments in dialogue and in other areas in the rule of law and economy.
Under the change of regulation for the areas and responsibilities of the Office of Prime Minister and Ministers, it is said that the first deputy prime minister, currently Behgjet Pacolli, could appoint up to 9 political advisers.

Meanwhile, the unfunctioned deputy prime ministers, Fatmir Limaj and Enver Hoxhaj, will be close to themselves by 11 political advisers.

Deputy prime ministers who are ministers, under this decision, can appoint up to 6 political advisers.

However, the other 18 ministers have the right to appoint up to 6 advisers, which, in turn, would be about 130.
