Under the auspices of Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj today in Gjakova has been held the memorial academy for martyrs and martyrs fallen in Bishazhi and Rogova of Hasi 20 years ago.
This arrangement reminded them of the fallen martyrs. And the first executive, not even this event, spared no mention of the tax imposed on Serbian goods, thus linking it to the determination of martyrs fallen to Kosovo.
Prime Minister Haradinaj, recalling the fall of the martyrs, said it is one of the most painful events of the recent war. He remembered the day when these martyrs went off to get weapons.
This situation, according to him, was created after a year of war, where it was very difficult to find a weapon somewhere where almost all the fighting techniques were spent. He said that there were no more losing days in the Dukagjin region than this.
The first executive did not fail to mention the tax imposed on Serbian goods. According to him, if the tax is removed, “we have relinquished our right”.
If one day before we give up, or declare that we have so insist on our right, we will stop there. If we stop this tax today, we've agreed here, and that's it for our right. Then your friend says after a while, but you stopped here yourself. It itself means, if any pressure ever comes upon us, it's not the intention to stop us from failing to our right. We don't just read what we like, because it's easier for these guys to do nothing. Because it was easier not to start at that time to accept autonomy, it was easier to stop in wartime Kosovo, to give part of the north to Serbia. Even then there are people after this place who knew what they wanted, there is today, there will be tomorrow. This country must enjoy its right, its independence. Serbia if it's ready to recognise us, if it's neighboring, but let's not forget we're any weaker than when we faced Milosevic”, he said.
Among other things, Haradinaj said that if he gives up so soon, then the country will be asked for additional prices.
The Chairman of the Gjakova municipality, Ardian Gjini, has remembered these martyrs fallen 20 years ago, saying that no day of war for freedom and independence should be forgotten.
The “that we've experienced war, a generation of generations, looks like yesterday. Twenty years have passed. It's over, but feeling, remembering, it just feels like yesterday. But for the past 20 years, children have been raised, nieces have grown up, and what seems to be happening yesterday should not let us forget one day, how difficult and difficult our people's path”, Djind said.
On behalf of fellow fighters, the Dervis Tahiri spoke, who said it is very difficult to speak at this anniversary.
The moment we started then, there was a need, a need for weapons, as Haradinaj mentioned, and besides the need for those boys, who had already brothered our time, we were all together. Only one channel of the time was for weapons to move towards Hasi and was led by Sokol Morina, Sahit Krasniqi and the Gega brothers, Tome and Meme Loshi. This supply from that area was constantly available. The journey went well to the Beach Bridge. On the Bistazhin Bridge as we were passing, almost most of the crowd had crossed the bridge and three four shadows were observed on the old bridge. It's a question that someone's really on hold. And the shooting begins... fire fired on both sides, and in the unlikely way we were going without weapons, we've been faced with a very bad situation. So there are two fellow fighters left dead”, Tahiri said. On behalf of the family, Gega Lochshi spoke, a warrior of the time. He said that these martyrs, 20 years ago, defeated the heat of January, fatigue, and also fear. ” This journey of these braves is the best message to show these brave men's determination and their oath to free the motherland. We martyrs can talk a lot, write books, but that's not the legacy of martyrs. The legacy was and is the freedom and development of Kosovo. To be united, to fight evil and to have prosperity for our youth and families. Having the rule of law where patriotic values are respected, the sacrifices that had been made for this country for decades”, Leftey concluded. He, in the name of the family of the martyrs, has called on the government to work every day for the legacy of life
