Attention, I've followed today the situation in Mitrovica created by the collapse of the main current trafos. Grateful teams that helped miners get out of Trepca mine. Due to network destruction, Mitrovica will have up to 12 MW power. The teams, under the assistance of the Kosovo Police, have started working to turn the situation into normal until tomorrow during the day. I'm telling citizens to have patience, while the Government, emergency teams and police are committed to helping overcome the situation and avoid possible further risk”, he wrote on Facebook.
As a result of the deterioration, nearly 100 miners were reportedly confined to 700m underground in the Trepca Mine. They were rescued after the destruction caused by power failure was repaired. /Periscopi
