The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, attended today's Memorial Academy on the 20th anniversary of the fall of Kosovo Hero, Skender Rexhepi and Nation Witness Fitim Duraku.

Prime Minister Haradinaj thanked the family of the martyrs and heroes of the nation and the family of those who remember today, the Futim Skender.

Prime Minister Haradinaj said that what's special about the Independence of Fitim is that they are the people who have traveled in the war, people who haven't borrowed from anyone, but who have always lost heart in their freedom efforts.

“Especially scytheer as a boy who has guided himself and created his own combat duties, and being both Fitim and all other fellow fighters, true that they are among those who in our struggle for freedom have the highly valued and respected place of”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said, remembering their time and work.

Prime Minister Haradinaj said he can talk too long about the works of Skender and Fitim, their actions for Kosovo freedom, but should talk about the present and the future, saying Kosovo is not planning to flee from its own right or to leave more.

A word of the occasion was held by the mayor of the Rahovec municipality, Smajl Latifi, on behalf of the fellow fighters present, Isa Krasniqi, while on behalf of the family spoke to Altin Rexhepi, son of Kosovo hero Skender Rexhepi.

Attending this Memorial Academy were mayors, deputies, fellow fighters, and numerous citizens.
