Hamza warns: If you do not pass the budget, no payment can be made

Finance Minister Bedri Hamza has said that if he does not pass the budget at tomorrow's session, then no payment can be made by the end of February, except debts.

“wish to be positive that the budget will pass. All proceedings have been conducted. The Commission for Legislation is expected to hold meetings and create the conditions for joining the session. In the hypothetical situation, if it doesn't pass, no payment can be made in February except for debts. I guess it's going to be the voting numbers”, Hamza told reporters.

For Thursday it is scheduled to be put to the polls in the Kosovo Assembly draft budget for 2019.

Experts warn of the consequences for the state if the budget does not pass.
