Haliti: Agreement with Serbia won't be asked at all

The historic agreement between Kosovo and Serbia will not ask many states, according to Kosovo Assembly Deputy Chairman Xhavit Haliti.

According to him, the agreement will be reached within this year, and it is only due to intense pressure made by Western diplomacy.

“We have the official US policy which has been declared that we accept and we would like to become a historic agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, but we will not accept any agreement. Balanci means Serbia has certain interests in Kosovo, I'm saying from what I'm hearing in Serbia's media, to have a special status through Orthodox churches that are in Kosovo. In one way or another they try to bring those four Serb municipalities together with Serbia, the same as we are saying about uniting the Presevo Valley”, he said in Rubik's KTV. “Both are small states and both are problematic states”.
According to Halit, the deal will be concluded with a joint meeting from which the signatures will emerge.

“Western complexity or diplomacy, individual states, especially those we consider as friends, will engage to reach agreement and I believe there will be a joint meeting from which they will come out with the” firm, he said. /Time.net
