Former Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski may be left without the MP's salary, as the parliamentary majority will change the law for MPs, under which, while the MP has a mandate, his monthly salary is due.
From power they propose that Article 11 of the Law for MPs be fulfilled with the article which says:
“If the MP is sentenced to an all-powerful judicial ruling, with prison terms longer than six months, loses the right to pay the salary, other personal incomes and the payment of expenses”, transmits Alsat M.
Gruevski is sentenced to two years in prison with an all-powerful decision in the case “Tennk”, yet the salary is paid again, since the only opportunity with the current law is in any absence of his decision, to lower wages by 5 per cent.
