Ferizaj chairman manages his people's money Facebook, INPO says

The non-governmental INPO organisation, which monitors developments in the Ferizaj municipality through a media communique Wednesday, has named the contract “Administrator of the municipality's account on social networks”. This NGO has called for its annulment and has invited responsible authorities to keep accounting officials.

According to INPO, in addition to legal violations, during the development of the procedure the economic operator “Sandes Aliu B. I” was established just two months before the contract was awarded. The owner of this company is Shedet Aliu, who has family ties to Lulzim Ali, the director of urbanisation in Ferizaj municipality.

The INPO reminds the mayor of the municipality, Agim Aliu, that it is under his primary responsibility to ensure rule of law and effective management in spending public money, always taking the real needs of Ferizaj citizens.
