Turkey's foreign minister met on Monday with a UN legal expert, which is conducting investigations into the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Ankara has called for an international investigation into the issue.
UN Special Detective Agnes Callamard will be in Turkey until Saturday to hold a series of meetings with Turkish authorities, including Istanbul's chief prosecutor, VoA reports.
Saudi officials have not confirmed whether they have responded to Miss Callamard's request to meet with Saudi ambassador to Turkey and for a working visit to Saudi Arabia as part of the investigation she is conducting.
