At the Mortore for Mutlu, organised in Istanbul, he attended among many of Erdgoan's relatives and Turkish Parliament Speaker and Istanbul Mayor Binali Yildirim's candidate.
In fulfillment of Mutlu's dying wish, the 83-year-old will not be buried in Istanbul, where he lived, but in his hometown, Rize. As a consequence of numerous commitments, Erdogan has not attended the weekly ceremony organised in Istanbul, while it is not yet known whether the head of the Turkish state will attend the last farewell ceremony for his uncle in the town of Rize, on the shores of the Black Sea./tvclean.al/
