Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama has talked for the first time about his reports with Vetevendosje Movement leader Albin Kurtin following tensions created over his nomination of Gent Cakaj to the post of Albanian top diplomat.
Rama in a TV interview, Klan, has stated that his reports with Kurt are close and open, however, do not comment on the VV statement, which Cakaj's appointment called wrong by Rama.
“I have a close report and we have very intense and open exchange”, Rama stated, writes Insander.
We remember that days ago Albania's President, Ilir Meta, has refused to decree the minister from Kosovo on the grounds of lack of experience. Metaj's decision, however, was supported by Vetevendosje.
It through an official communiqué stated that Cakaj had been a former VV member and that according to them it was against Albania's positions.
