The deadly weather left the consequences in Europe during today, causing injuries to people in alpine regions and delays in numerous flights.
The number of accidentists in the mountains has reached 12 and most have been caught by snow avalanches.
In Norway, efforts to locate the bodies of four skiers were again put on hold because of poor visibility. A 29-year-old Swedish and three Finnish women, 29, 32 and 36, were considered dead after a wide avalanche of 300m (990 m) hit a valley near the northern town of Tromsws last week.
