Day 23: QKUK surgeon strike continues

Arber Morina representative of the surgeons' College, said the CKUK surgeons' strike will continue and will not be interrupted until Kosovo's responsible institutions meet their demands.

“Today is the 23rd day of the strike, we are even stronger for continuing strike”, he said today on the morning show “good morning Kosovo”, at Radio Television Kosovo.

According to him, this strike has started with planned operations. He said that any entry into surgery that poses the risk of patient life, surgeons perform it.

“We conduct urgent operations, while not conducting planned operations, now on strike is the Ferizaj Hospital”, he said.

Morina suggested they were distanced from the union. It has not represented our demands. The union had to support our demands”, he said.
