The Kosovo Correcting Service Union has reacted to the draft wage bill, saying that if they are not included as they have been promised, then they are obliged to act under union law and in other forms.
The union through a reaction says the Correcting Service is not satisfied with treatment given to the law on wages.
“No one from the union and the Corresponding Service (Central Director) has been invited to consultations concerning setting the cofficient. We ask that we be fitly involved because we too are devoted to the work we do. So none of the staff who make up the correctional service, uniforms, civil staff and support staff are satisfied with the salary law co-efficiency 1. Even though we're the first union that we've been opposing the pay law. If we are not involved as promised, then we are obliged to act according to union law, in other forms”, says the union response.
