A Czech citizen burned himself in downtown Prague on Friday in the country where activist Jan Palach has become self-sufficient 50 years ago in protest of the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia.
Self-confidence has been taken to the hospital with head injuries and hands, officials said.
“A person born in 1964 has set himself on fire around 3:00, using a fuel substance”, Prague police said in a Twitter post.
Postova emergency service spokeswoman in Prague, Jana Postova, said the “patient, with 30% of the body burned, has been placed in artificial computers”.
The Czech Republic has marked this week the 50th anniversary of Palace's self-awareness with official ceremonies.
