I also had a telephone conversation with US Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia, Es Mitchell, with whom I talked about the political situation in Kosovo. We agreed to continue our dedication in the final phase of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. All institutions in the US are in favour of the Republic of Kosovo for reaching a comprehensive agreement that will eventually bring lasting peace and stability to the Western Balkans. Kosovo is unique and fully aware of this historic opportunity, Thaci has written, broadcast Periscopi.
We remember Thaci had a phone conversation during the day with White House Security Adviser John Bolton.
This afternoon I had a telephone conversation with the National Security Councilman at the White House, Ambassador John Bolton. We talked about dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as permanent partnership between Kosovo and the US. Ambassador Bolton assured me that the Republic of Kosovo remains responsible for continuing dialogue and wants to speak in a voice, as President Trump has requested. We are convinced that the dialogue will begin soon and end with a comprehensive agreement, ensuring mutual recognition and membership in NATO, the EU and the UN. Kosovo has always walked alongside the United States and friendship will be permanent. /Periscopi/
