People in need, the Pristina municipality, is now offering them free food.
This is being done under the Mobile People's Kitchen, which the municipality is organizing every day of the week in the primary schools of the capital's seven neighbourhoods, reports “038” KTV.
The Kosovo Parents' Council welcomes the community's human initiative to help the needy.
However, the chairman of this council, Ymret Resiti, says safety in school environments is disturbing. He requires that a more suitable environment be found for the kitchen.
The opposition in the Municipal Assembly estimates that schools do not meet the conditions to distribute food.
Suneza Begolli, adviser to President Shpend Ahmeti, has said this project is in the initial phase and that difficulties could arise. She added that they are thinking of setting up another permanent location for this kitchen.
The leftover food is given to the citizens who need food. /Time.net
