A day after the big news that Milan is showing great interest in Kosovo's most talented player, Edon Zegrov, foreign media report that even Catalan giant Barcelona has raised interest in the 19-year-old.
Sports Mediasets in Italy reported yesterday that Milan is considering transferring Zegrov as the substitute for disappointing Turk, Hakan Calhanoglu, writes Express newspaper.
Now, reportedly the Catalonian giant, along with Milan, is the club that has shown the greatest interest in bringing Genk and Kosovo's promising player into its ranks. Zegrov passed through the Youth Academy in St. Truiden Football Club, and since the summer of 2017, it's part of the Genk in Belgian league.
In 27 official matches for Belgians, the Kosovo side, which can play on both sides of the attack, has scored 5 goals and donated three assists.
With Kosovo, meanwhile, the 19-year-old has made eight presentations since his debut in March 2018, marking two goals.
