The U.S. Strategic Command, which oversees America's nuclear arsenal, apologised for a Twitter post, which he said is ready to throw something much, much larger” than the ball that falls on New Year's night in New York's Times Square.
The message, posted on New Year's Eve, was accompanied by a video showing a B-2 bomber dropping weapons.
Strategic command later deleted the post, saying it had <x0 weak-sided” and replaced it with apology.
“We are committed to the safety of America and allies”, the Strategic Command said.
In New York Square every year a ball is thrown from a skyscraper to mark the start of the new year.
Tradition has begun since 1907. /rel/
