It has already been more than a year since elections for the first of Pristina have ended, through which Shpend Ahmeti took the trust of citizens to lead with the capital.

With the results certified by the CEC, his counter-Candidate by LDK, Arba Abashi, who has filed a complaint with the Constitutional Court, writes Indexline.

The ruling on this complaint, the Constitutional Court, is expected to publicise tomorrow, to show whether Pristina will go to the polls.

However, Indesksonline sources suggest that the Constitution has already rejected Abrashi's complaint, declaring Ahmeti the legitimate head of Pristina.

According to them, Shpend Ahmeti will continue to be chairman of Pristina until the end of the four-year term.

Today, meanwhile, Abrashi has expressed optimism that the Constitution will decide in his favour, sending Pristina to the polls.

And if his complaint is rejected, Abrashi has warned that he will also complain at the Strasbourg Court.

“Rest is too simple to decide and it's been very easy... I'll see all legal possibilities, including Strasbourg, including international expertise and other forms of punishment for all those who can point to this”, Abrashi said.

We remember that according to results published at the end of the Shpend Ahmeti process, it received 42,262 votes, while LDK's Arba Abashi received 41,897vota. /Indesksonline/
