It is 18-year-old Alma Yunik who last month won two world titles in the Muay-Thai sport, also known as the tajboks.
Alma on December 13th in Hong Kong defeated Thai Zaza Soor Aree and thus won world titles in the bantam category in WBC and IPCC versions.
The young warrior was born in Australia while part of the <x0->Modern Warrior Gym” club in Queensland. It has started as nine years old to exercise Muay-Thai, Thailand's fighter sport, but already practiced in many parts of the world. A
Ima already counts professional fighters, while so are her brother and sister, Andy and Amanda Junik. Initially, the Junik family children started with this type of hobby sport, but they remained in it, while Alma plans to stay long.
