Macedonia's government made a decision to open the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Albania in the Republic of Macedonia with headquarters in Manastir.
With the government decision adopted on January 8th this year and proclaimed in the Official Journal of the RM, consent is given to the appointment of Ymer Selmani to appoint an honorary consul of the Republic of Albania in the Republic of Macedonia, headquartered in Manhattan.
The government decision will implement Macedonia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Otherwise, from the independence of the Republic of Macedonia to this day, 13 honorary consulates of the same many countries of Europe have opened. Of them, three honoural consulates (Croatia, Great Britain and Slovenia) are temporarily out of work, the Republic of Bulgaria in Manastir has general consulates, while the Republic of Greece has the Open Office for Relations in this city.
