This year we have a more joyful reason. Albanians will need less time to make their first million.
Making that kind of money together will take an average of 1 century and 82 years. In the next year, it would take us all two centuries and 14 years to make $1 million together.
But even though we have reduced years, Albania still remains in countries where you will need more time to be millionaires.
Based on data for average wage in Albania by INSTAT and data for other states from U NEKE, Monitor estimated how long it would take on average to make $1 million.
One million dollars are made faster in Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Iceland, where average 16 years are needed. Unlike a year ago, the average time in Switzerland to make a million dollars was 11.3 years.
Then they rank the United States of America for about 17 years, the Netherlands and Denmark, with 19 years respectively.
In Austria and Belgium it takes about 20 years to make $1m.
In the German state, with the average salary, $1m can be made for 21 years, while in France and England it will take about 23 years. In Italy, on average, it will take 27 years and Greece 38 years.
More time to realize the first million is needed in countries of birth. In the Baltics it takes about 41 years.
Among the European Union member states, Romania and Bulgaria requires more time to make a million dollars. It takes approximately 75 years in Romania, while in Bulgaria it takes 1 century and 26 years.
Albania ranks first-end on the list of states considered.
Instead, it is Armenia, where compared to a year ago an individual would be 2 centuries and 39 years from 2 centuries to 15 years. /MONITOR
