Although they are demanding a 30 - percent raise in the salary coffient, an agreement has not yet been reached with Government, which has warned that all lost hours will be compensated.
For this, the SBASK has warned that if their demands are not met, the strike could last months.
According to them, institutions should not seek replacement of lost days.
We think that institutions should be spared with statements of beginning or compensation of hours that we are still on strike. We believe we need to develop dialogue on how to stop the strike, not talk today about replacing lost hours while we're still on strike. Maybe the strike will last months. The institutions should not seek to replace lost days”, SBASK has warned.
Otherwise, some school principals have called for teachers to go to schools today and start learning, but these calls are not known if they will respond to their teachers.
