Kosovo police -- namely, the Directorate for Narcotic Trafficking Investigation at the General Police Directorate in Pristina after a several-month investigation during a successful police operation undertaken today, dated 24.01.2019 -- has arrested three suspected persons and confiscated over 52kg of suspected narcotics-type substance, is disclosed through a media communique.
“During the implementation of the police operation today at 24.01.2019, about 4: 00 p.m. on the Pristina road ♫ Gjilan (in the village of Pontesh) Kosovo police have stopped the Mercedes vehicle with Albanian license plates, which was run by the suspect (F.T.T.), which was along with the other suspect (J.H.), the two males with Albanian citizenship, and after proceeding to search the vehicle's luggage in question has been found an amount of over 52kg, the alleged amount of the narcotics type of marijuana (J.1H.) in the municipality, Periskosko.
Following continued operational tactical action on the same day (24.01.2019) around 19:30, in Gjilan (in parking lot of a shopping mall), the third Serb citizenship suspect (L. M.) has been arrested, who allegedly had to accept the high-risk narcotics substance.
Kosovo police during this operation as material evidence have seized:
• Two (2) cars,
• Four (4) cell phones,
• Two thousand Euros per cash
• Over 50 pounds of marijuana.
While, under the decision of the competent prosecutor, suspects are sent to the maintenance for proceeding to further legal. /Periscopi
