The founding prosecutor in Gjilan in her three departments, the Department of War crimes, the Department of General Crime, and the Department for Mitur, and a total of 17 prosecutors, including her chief prosecutor, in 2018, accepted 2,592 criminal allegations of different natures with a total of 3,255 persons, with cases in 2019 carrying only 44 subjects with a total of 65 persons.
During the year we left behind, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjilan has accepted 2,592 criminal allegations of various natures, with a total of 3,255 people, with regard to cases in 2019, only 44 matter with a total of 65 persons.
In the communiqué sent to the media, the Founding Prosecutor in Gjilan, in 2018, has successfully met its constitutional and legal obligations for uncompetitive pursuit of perpetrators of criminal acts, while at the same time guaranteeing fundamental freedoms and human rights.
“In 2018 this prosecutor has shown high efficiency in performing subjects, with over 98% established and handed over to the Constitutional Court in Gjilan, where, to the extent of this high percentage, in addition to raising the charges, there has been also a holiday of investigation and throwing of criminal cases”, it is said in the communique.
