Naser Behrami has been injured during demonstrations in the 1990s, in the Podujevo municipality.
He is injured on both legs and unable to work, KTV reports.
But right now, after 29 years, he and about 300 others, also injured before the war, are demanding that the veteran's status be recognised.
Behrami says that demand has been made since many intermers are receiving veteran retirement.
However, this category will not enter the veterans' list.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Management has said they will not take into account the requirements of this category. Mimoza Kqiku, official for information at the ministry, has said briefly that with legislation in force this category is not addressed.
Otherwise, they still hope that their request will be taken into account by responsible institutions in the future. /Periscopi
