The days of extreme weather have swept across Europe, which in just one week caused the deaths of 13 people, especially in Switzerland, Austria and Germany.
Hundreds of people have remained trapped in alpine regions because of the risk of orchids, while strong winds have provoked the cancellation of many flights.
