The first executive suggested respect for the citizens' decision is a duty in democracy. Zaev said this exclusively about Alsat, in an interview that will be broadcast on the Law Street show that will be broadcast at 20:40.

There is no dilemma as to whether we will have 80 votes in Parliament, I expect everyone to vote because it happens in democracy. Citizens are final in decisions and if they bring the decision we can only join them, say we understand, respect and implement”, said Zoran Zaev

Zaev denied approaching amnesty by anyone from VMRO-DPMNE officials who went against their party, backing the referendum on the name issue.

I'm not the one who can influence the judiciary or anything. No one is guilty of me unless the guilt is recorded”, he claimed.

He expressed satisfaction that Albanians have been by his side during important processes. He even said that with the Agreement with Greece, Albanian language and Albanian identity, they are protected.

“If it was about endangering Albanian identity, or anyone else of smaller ethnic communities, I would defend the same as I have defended Macedonian language and identity. I would do the same. Neither Albanian identity nor Albanian language” is being disputed nor will it be disputed in the future, Zaev stressed.

The prime minister voiced optimism that the provision will be achieved in the 30 September referendum on the name issue and that the result will be positive. Zaev from the memorial complex in Krusevo also made his latest appearance before silence for the referendum starting at midnight. The one from Krushevo called for citizens' support for the referendum, which he praised as historic.
