Wessel: Mitrovica never, but will never be touched

In a debate in Mitrovica about the final phase of dialogue, attended by intellectuals and citizens from this municipality, the chairman of the municipality. The PDK has reiterated that Mitrovica will always be Kosovo and will never become part of any trade.

“Perhaps you have recently had the opportunity to hear different voices talking about how Mitrovica could be part of the country's territorial exchange market with Serbia. Believe me, these voices are of people and circles who don't want the best for both Mitrovica and Kosovo. They don't know Mitrovica, they don't like him or so much. They only want him for their limited interests, not in the interest of Mitrovica, nor do they want him. There are voices that cause panic in citizens and thus serve the anti-Kosovo forces evil purposes. They're pro-Russian voices, they're pro-Serb voices, full of patriotism”, Veselin said, Koha.net reported.

Wessel further said that these hostile voices must face our full resolve.

“Mitrovica never, but it will never be touched. Mitrovica has been and forever will remain Kosovo's heart and pride”. He said it.

Chairman The PDK said it has come to meet Mitrovica citizens to show once again its determination that the state of Kosovo will be protected and developed by actions and no longer words and lies.

Wessel has mentioned that there will be big investments in this city. In this direction he has cited a project conceived by him that envisions investments on both sides of the Ibër.
