Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has said his statements in Mitrovica, where Slobodan Milosevic was mentioned, have been misunderstood after some of the media have forged him.
“Whoever heard my word in Mitrovica has been able to understand that Milosevic's mention was not adornment but serious criticism of the policy we have had”, Vuciqi has indicated after meeting with US Senator Ron Johnson.
Vucinqi has stressed that some media in the region have forged part of his speech to Milosevic, as, according to him, Serbia does not lead such a policy, broadcast news.net.
“Such a policy may be current if there is a bad Vuciq. If we offer peace then this is not Serbia they want”, Vuciq has insisted that the speech has been forged.
He has added that in Mitrovica, he has talked about Serbia's mistakes, the road to the future, and relations between Serbs and Albanians.
According to Vuciqi, Albanians and Serbs must leave the past behind and look to the future.
