Vucinq cancels his visit to Squirrel Bay

This following recent developments in that part, where protests are still under way with the deadlock of two main roads from Mitrovica to Skenderaj.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq earlier stated he is not interested in the protests of Drenica residents, nor in Prime Minister Ramushaldinaj's decision, which prevented Vuciqi from going to Drenica. Vuciq has said he will try to get to Bana via secondary roads.

But if that is not accomplished, he has made it known that he will return.

We may not be able to visit the Serb enclave. We'll try but it'll be hard to get there. I don't recommend to Serbian media moving here. We'll try, if we don't succeed we'll go back to”, Vuciq said.

Protesters have blocked all roads leading to this village with heavy transport tools.
