Turkey arrests 56 as suspected of links to Gulen

Authorities in Turkey have arrested 48 soldiers and eight others as suspects that they are linked to the US-based Fettullah Gulen. The arrested persons allegedly helped in the failed border against President Recep Tayip Erdogan in 2016, writes Euronews, traces Klan Kosova.
The detainees are on the list of 89 people who have been investigated by prosecutors in Istanbul.
Authorities there have made “clean-up” of persons suspected of having links to Gulen. Such shares have been undertaken on regular grounds that the stamp organised in July 2016, where 250 people were left dead. On the other hand, Gulen has denied his involvement in this organisation.
Turkey has arrested 160 thousand people and has fired as many civil servants, the United Nations Human Rights Office has announced. Over 50,000 people are officially charged and imprisoned after the trial.
