Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has given his position that with Serbia they should find compromise through peace for an agreement that, according to him, should result in recognition of Kosovo's independence on the part of the Serbian state.

However, Serbian President Alexader Vuciq and other officials close to the Serbian government have said it will be extremely difficult to find the final solution with Kosovo.

However, they hope a solution will be made in co-operation with the European Union.

As for the next meeting, when the two presidents are expected to hold it, in Brussels, the EU has not yet revealed that.

European Union for Foreign Policy High Representative Maja Kocijancic has said it is still early to talk about the date when Thaci and Vuci will meet.

The “currently cannot announce the date for the appointment”, Kocijancic for Indexline said February.

Meanwhile, the president, Thaci is continuing to repeat his idea of mending borders or exchanging territories between Kosovo and Serbia. The first of the state has stressed that it will propose in dialogue the issue of uniting the Presevo Valley with Kosovo, without even losing part of our territory.

Yet, the subject is not yet known whether it will be discussed in Brussels.

We remember, that the government “Haradinaj” has established the Unity Team at the helm with Fatmir Limaj for talks with Serbia, which has been sent to the Assembly, but cannot be approved because it is being contested by the opposition, with the votes not needed.

Otherwise, Serbian media have warned today that the United States of America will soon be more actively involved as mediators in dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.

According to the newspaper “Danas” The inclusion of Americans will take place through “scale diplomacy”, in talks with top officials in the capitals of Serbia and Kosovo.
