Thaci seeks support from Organisation for Islamic Co-operation

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, along with Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and First Deputy Prime Minister Behgjet Pacolli, have held a meeting with the Organisation for Islamic Co-operation (OBI), Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othayen, with whom they have talked about the possibility of deepening co-operation between Kosovo and 57 member states of this organisation.
The head of our country has asked Secretary Al-Othayeen for OBI's support in the process of increasing recognition for the Republic of Kosovo, for the process of Kosovo's membership in Interpol and other international organisations.
“OBI has also backed the Republic of Kosovo on increasing recognition and membership in international organisations. We expect your support to continue”, President Thaci has said.
While the Association for Islamic Co-operation Secretary-General (OBI), Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othayen has said this organisation will continue its full support for Kosovo.
Otherwise, President Thaci will continue meetings with representatives of the various states of the world to push ahead with the bilate co-operation agenda, increased recognitions and membership in international organisations.
