Kosovo Mayor Hashim Thaci has commemorated the 11 September terrorist attack, naming it ugly. On the aesthetic side, it could also be described as beautiful but the issue lies in the pain that caused and in the terrible security policies the United States later imposed, writes Periscope.
However, Thaci has stressed that Kosovo is part of the global coalition against fundamentalism, extremism and terrorism.

The “took 17 years from the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, in the United States. These ugly attacks were against Western values of civilization and the entire democratic world. Their victims were citizens of over 70 different parts of the world, which the whole world now remembers. Even our people associated with all the peoples who lost their loved ones in these barbarous attacks that shocked the world. Kosovo, as part of the later global alliance, has always tried to make its contribution to this unstopable fight against fundamentalism, extremism and terrorism”, Thaci wrote.
